FAQ

Why Fish with us?

We are a small family owned business that puts customer satisfaction #1.  Unlike many of our competitors, we go the extra mile to ensure your success.  Your trip will be custom-tailored so that you have a memorable experience and will want to fish with us again.  Our business is based on return clientele, so your safety, happiness, and success are our mission.

Are we Guaranteed Fish?

Unfortunately, we do not guarantee fish.  It is fishing not catching.  What we do guarantee is that no one else will try as hard or put in the extra hours on a slow day that we will.  We only use top of the line experienced guides, unlike some of our competitors that will put you in a first year “Rookie” guides’ boat.

How are the fish cared for at the end of the day?

At the end of your fishing trip your guide will fillet your fish and bag them.  From this point either you or we will drop off your fish at Custom Seafood Processing in Soldotna, where they will vacuum seal and flash freeze your fish.  This method preserves freshness and ensures your satisfaction after you have returned home. Custom Seafood will also store your fish in a freezer during your stay for you to pick up before departing.  They also offer shipping via FedEx to your residence is also available if you prefer not to fly home with your catch.

How do we get there?

We recommend that you fly into Anchorage (ANC) International Airport.  From there you will need to rent a car to drive to Soldotna.  It is a beautiful 3 hour drive to Soldotna.  You can also fly into Kenai (ENA) and rent a car.  We would suggest using one of the more reputable rental car agencies.  We have heard some less than stellar reports from some customers that decided to try the unknown rental companies.
